The Youth & Family Restoration Project is an intervention and enhancement program for youth and families, in the Pittsburgh and Allegheny County, aimed at restoring families that have been separated due to incarceration of the parent, out-of-home placement of the child, or both.
The Youth & Family Restoration Project is essentially a community-based wraparound service that focuses on strengthening the role of the family to help eliminate the complex issues of at-risk, misplaced and underserved youth.
Our goal is to provide intensive, individualized services and supports to families that will allow children to live and grow up in a safe, stable, permanent family environment.
With this youth and family support service, Naomi’s Place Transitional Housing, Inc. seeks to provide solutions to the social, emotional and educational issues that inhibit proper development and productivity in youth.
Our staff will work directly with families, and collaborate with other human service providers, schools and faith-based organizations, to prevent and interrupt cycles of behavior that are destructive to individuals, families and neighborhoods.
